Sephora Haul for my birthday
My sweet husband let me have an unexpected shopping spree at Sephora for my birthday last week (although it really was because he didn't have time to get me a gift-- I was not upset, though, because it turned out better for me! I love picking out my own presents, haha!).
Two fun things about shopping there the day before my birthday-- the Sephora staff dinged a bell and everyone yelled "Happy Birthday!" I guess when they pulled up my account, it gave them a note to wish me that. :) Also, since it was my birthday AND I had built up bonus points in my account from previous shopping trips, I got a free mini Clinique mascara plus a cute little birthday kit of trial products. Fun freebies!
From Sephora, I purchased the following products, with my Amazon Affiliate links to purchase the products below.
Bare Minerals Ready To Go Complexion Perfection Palette (#R230 for Medium Golden Skin Tones)
BECCA Cosmetics The One Perfecting Brush (Cruz Tube video coming with a glowing review of it-- it's my new obsession!)
Urban Decay Naked Basics Eyeshadow Palette

Mugsy Bogues (AKA "Mogwai") got a Facebook Fan Page and a Talent Agent!
Mogwai, whose face is at the top of my blog, is going to be FAMOUS-- and he kind of is already! Last week, he got a Facebook Fan Page. Click on this link to "Like" his page!
This weekend, he got a talent agent! Now he will be represented by the Top Dog Talent Agency of Shreveport. He has such a photogenic look, I am sure he is destined for fame and greatness. ;) I know I'm a proud mama, haha...

Fast Weight Loss
Y'all are going to die when I tell you this-- I AM DOWN 23 POUNDS IN 16 DAYS!!!! How is this possible?!!! I have been VERY faithful on the plan. Another trick is that I have been drinking a lot of the ready-to-drink EAS Carb Control shakes in place of Medifast meals, like a LOT of them because they have lower carbs, and I think my body likes lower carbs. Plus I have been continuing my HARDCORE cardio, 25 minutes a day, on a Stairmaster at level 7. My shirt will be drenched with sweat when I finish. I do that 5 days a week and the other 2 days I do my total body Slim in 6 "Start it Up" DVD, for keeping my muscles since it's kinda strength training-ish.

Gerard Butler is in the house!
Yes, I am good for NOTHING this morning, because I know that Gerard Butler is in the station. They're filming "Playing the Field" at our station this weekend... it's a film with Gerard, Jessica Biel, Uma Thurmon, Catherine Zeta-Jones, etc. WHOA! They just asked for a reporter to go shoot video, so I grabbed a news camera... and was told our News Director wants a "big" camera to shoot with.

New video, plus Medifast Double Chocolate Chip Cookies recipe!
Here ya go:
Click on this link to see my latest CruzTube video, about teasing your hair!
Also, at lunch, I made some Medifast Double Chocolate Chip Cookies using the Medifast Brownies mix.
Ingredients:
--one packet Medifast Brownie mix
--one packet Splenda (I used the kind with fiber) or a few drops of liquid Stevia
--2 tbs. water
Mix the ingredients together in a bowl until they form a cookie-type dough. Using a spatula, scrape every bit onto either parchment paper or a cookie sheet sprayed with Pam, then bake for 12-14 minutes at 350 degrees. Makes 3 cookies.
I kind of accidentally overbaked mine, so they turned out kind of too-brown at the tips, but still were soft and chewy on the inside. Also, if I were to give advice, I'd tell you to flatten the cookies out with a fork. :)
I enjoyed that meal!
